Natural Corner: A Modern Country Style Residential Design

Creating a Comfortable and Casual Atmosphere

This project, designed by Yiling Tsai of Chun Fu Development, stands out with its pure and natural design concept. The use of wood materials, elegant decorations, paintings, green plants, and light color tones contribute to a warm and inviting ambiance. The living room features a unique three-dimensional arch design on the ceiling, while the TV back wall presents a minimalist style with clean lines. The wood veneer flooring adds a touch of warmth to the space.

The open plan concept is applied to the living room, dining room, and kitchen, with mild color tones such as white and grey as the base colors. Green plants and a sofa serve as embellishments, while simple wooden walls tie the space together. The master bedroom showcases a wallpapered headboard back wall and a dark-colored headboard, complemented by spherical wall lamps on each side. Each of the three bedrooms has its own color tones, creating a unique atmosphere in each room. Throughout the entire project, wood veneer is used to create a warm and inviting environment.

The design also pays attention to practicality and functionality. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are designed as an open public space, allowing for easy interaction and communication. A movable glass partition in the cloakroom provides a thoughtful storage solution for luggage. The dining table is placed in the middle of the kitchen island, allowing the client to interact with guests or children while cooking. The ceiling of the bedroom is deliberately raised to enhance the comfort of the space, with different colors used to create a boutique hotel atmosphere.

The Natural Corner design is characterized by its natural style, modern country style, three-dimensional ceiling, brightness, leisure, cozy ambiance, and sense of living. It was completed in January 2019 in Zhubei Hsinchu City, Taiwan. The design team faced challenges in breaking away from unnecessary decoration and elements, focusing on creating a simple and spacious space. The three-dimensional arch ceiling of the living room was a key element of the project, showcasing the team's creativity and technical expertise.

The Natural Corner design has been recognized for its excellence and innovation. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Natural Corner design stands out for its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings to its inhabitants.
